"This charming family owned neighborhood trattoria serves straight-ahead Italian cuisine with an accent on seafood. The superstar of salad with Roasted Walnuts and Gorgonzola in Honey Vinaigrette. Great Italian Trattoria!

"Well what could you say about a restaurant that surpasses all of your dining experiences… I am a connoisseur of dining and I must say there is nothing you could say about Oliva in Sherman Oaks. The food was absolutely delectable. We had a seafood dish to die for and the other person I was dining with is not really a seafood person but it was a dish that came highly recommended and a must try and the other dish we ordered was a Tuscan chicken. And it was delicious, both dishes were served in generous portions and the presentation was pleasing to the eyes and pallet. The seasonings used in these dishes were not too pronounces but left you wanting take another bite. Now to the service… It was a very friendly atmosphere and the waiters were at your service never leaving you feeling unattended. Between the wait staff and busboy really made you feel as though you were being catered too. The ambiance was very quant, made you feel like you were dining in a small restaurant in Tuscany. From the murals on the wall to the music being played it just made your dining experience feel as though it was time and money well spent even though you did not have to spend allot to have a good pleasurable time, and wanting to come back for another enjoyable time and to try other delicious food and drinks.
